Frank Film Club is a podcast about movies, hosted, as they say themselves, « by Actor Maisie Williams (Game Of Thrones), Casting Director Hannah Marie Williams, and Filmmaker Lowri Roberts ».
Their podcast launched in October 2021 and is still going. But they had a huge break between June 2023 and February 2024 caused by the writers and actors strike.
As the strike ended, they finally restarted uploading episodes. We’ve already been blessed with four episodes this month !
Talking about Legally Blonde, Little Miss Sunshine, The Batman, 2001 : Space Odessey, Barbie or The Triangle of Sadness, they give us a unique point of view about cinema in general.
It’s a little bit chaotic, always women focused and overall very light and fun. One of my fav podcast, I really recommend it to people learning English and especially trying to understand better the British accent.
